28. CIMAC Congress in Helsinki

The CIMAC Congress is one of the most important international events in the field of large diesel and gas engines, covering also turbine applications. It's the 28th time the CIMAC Congress takes places from June 6th to June 10th. This time Helsinki in Finland is organized to create a forum for users, such as shipowners, power station and rail operators, suppliers, oil companies, scientists and classification societies to meet with the engine manufacturers for an intensified dialogue and for better mutual understanding. 

More than 1.000 visitors are expected to  learn and discuss in numerous lectures and technical sessions, new developments in the diesel and gas engine technology. 

AVAT Automation as congress sponsor accompanies this high-profile event with own lectures. The Head of Development, Mr. Klaus Schmidt shows new approaches to anti-knock control with the aim of a more uniform engine operation. Mr. Martin Greve, Head of Product Management, explains why the next generation of motor controllers openECS is both open and standardized at the same time.
