We've been awarded the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" in 2018 and are very proud of it. The award is one of the most important and coveted economic awards in Germany and is given to us by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation.
Almost 5,000 companies nationwide entered the race this year at the 24th edition of the competition. In the five competition criteria: development of the enterprise, innovation and modernization, creation and securing of jobs and training places, engagement in the region as well as service, customer proximity and marketing we could convince. We prevailed against 2,436 competitors in our competition regions and are thus one of only four award winners in Baden-Württemberg.
On Saturday evening, during the award ceremony in Würzburg, the jury said: "... in addition to the high level of innovation and a special feeling for the specific needs of its customers, AVAT has made a name for itself in its home region with its social commitment. Among other things, the company attaches great importance to promoting young talent, supporting students from socially difficult backgrounds and is an industrial partner of numerous universities and universities.
More than a present for our 25th anniversary - for us at the same time award and challenge. An award for what we've achieved so far, and a challenge to continue to succeed in our business with innovative ideas, courage and drive.
