Every day we work on advancing the energy transition with intelligent solutions. The past year has shown us how quickly existing energy systems can falter and how urgently the energy transition is needed.
These challenging times make partnerships essential, that allow us to keep focused on our common goals. It is precisely these partners who know that we prefer to make donations at Christmas instead of handing out presents, so that we can also support those for whom it is difficult to look forward with hope, even in good times.
Our Christmas donation this year will go to PALUNA, the outpatient palliative care service of the local Children's Hospital. The PALUNA team supports families with terminally ill children so that they can spend as much time together as possible while maintaining their quality of life as much as possible. With our donation, PALUNA is able to finance measures for affected families that are not covered by the cost units, thus enabling seriously ill children to live at home.
The donation of 10,000 euros was handed over on December 1 at the children's hospital, when our CEO Frank Ganssloser met with the medical director of the PALUNA team, Dr. Astrid Kimmig and Thomas Hassel, Chairman of the Charity Foundation "Hilfe für kranke Kinder".
We thank you for your trust and for the good cooperation and wish you and your family happy holidays and a year full of positive energy in 2023.
